Little Miss Arrives!

I know it is delayed- but I am happy to announce that the little miss made her official appearance on December 14th at 12:12am weighing in at 7lbs 15oz. It was a long labor but I made it through and the payoff at the end was surely worth it. Here she is Miss Carya (Kar-ee-uh) Helen:

She is sleeping and eating well and seems to be one happy little girl!

The Baby/Guest Room

Here are some photos of the Little Miss' nursery. It was a work in progress for over one month but we got it all completed with plenty of time to spare :) More photos with complete wall decorations to follow!
This is the view when you walk in. Rug and duvet (thanks Mom-mom B!) purchased from Overstock. Custom bedding (crib, full bed, pillows) and window valences purchased from a fantastic etsy artist.

Crib (thanks Grandmom E!) with the custom bedding

Walls painted two colors: window walls in Benjamin Moore Cream Silk and other walls painted Feather Green

Our Northeast Map! From Brainstorm Print and Design
And of course the rocking recliner (complete with a matching throw blanket!) and our favorite major room addition- the IKEA Pax wardrobe.
The baby animal photos above the crib (from left to right: fox, kangaroo, monkey, lamb, duckling) from The Animal Print Shop Little Darlings Collection
